Papal Fantasy: The Papal Fantasy coins are private fantasy issues minted in the
name of the Evangelic (and fictitious) Pope Matthew by mr.
Fred Zinkann, who has pioneered the striking of coins in many non-conventional
metals. The Papal fantasy issue is one of the coin types with the highest
diversity of metal varieties ever used in a single issue (all the other
contenders for the title were minted by mr. Zinkann
as well).
Mr. Zinkann sells the coins
via eBay, using the nom-de-plume “equillink”.
